Your school filter stops youtube.com on this Chromebook.
One press reads your device and tests links on this wifi.
The link that opens goes on top, two backups under it.
The Chromebook extension file lands beside them, ready to download.
Your YouTube Unblocked link, checked on the wifi your Chromebook uses
One press tests links from your Chromebook. Back comes the one that opens, with two backups and an extension file.
A short check opens all three, in eleven languages.
Here is the bit most guides skip: a link that plays at home tells you nothing about school wifi. Every network filters its own way, so a list someone posted online can be dead on yours. YouTube Unblocked runs the test from your Chromebook, on the connection you are actually using.
How it finds a link for your wifi
A link that plays at home tells you nothing about school wifi.
Red flags, green flags
Whatever link you end up with, from here or anywhere else, run it past these first.
Flip it to see the other side.
Red flags
- aIt asks for your school Google password.
- bIt wants you to turn off a setting your admin manages.
- cIt came off a list nobody tried on your network.
- dIt is one link, with nothing to fall back on when it gets filtered.
Green flags
- aIt was tested on the wifi you are on right now.
- bTwo backups come with it, ready if the first one stops.
- cThe extension file shows its name before you download it.
- dThe page speaks your language, with eleven to pick from.
Does it fit you
Ask yourself three things.
Is YouTube blocked on your school Chromebook?
If not, open youtube.com as usual and skip this page.
Have proxies quit working on your school wifi?
If one still works, keep using it.
Do you want a backup ready before the first link quits?
If one link is enough, use the top one and leave the rest.
Yes to all three? Then it fits: press OK, find my link and let it test your wifi.
Keep a backup in another tab, and a filtered link costs you one tap.
